I took a quick photo through the passenger side window of the waterfall along the road on Route 5 and it looked a little more ice cold yesterday.  The temperature was in the 20’s and a wind made it even more chilly.

I went across the river into New Hampshire and you can see another view of Mt Ascutney.  I decided to have a fun day and just get away for awhile.

I went shopping and found the above cute dish at Pier 1 Imports.  It’s a Sofie the Bunnie salad plate.  They also have a serving bowl and a platter in that pattern.

Then I found a cute glass with a bunnie on it at T J Max.  It’s a light green color and a heavy weight on it.

Then I decided to have baked scrod for lunch at a Chicago 99 restaurant.  So fun and it was just right for a day away.

Then more shopping and I found a Mediterranean Garlic Seasoned Olive Oil and Pure Himalayan Ancient Sea Salt in a grinder bottle.  I want to use that seasoned olive oil for roasted veggies to give them flavor.

Then I found a new African Violet that was kind of a pretty color.

And a new white Hyacinth that just makes the whole place smell like Spring.

On the way back, I got an ice coffee and had my favorite station on the radio.  I came back on the New Hampshire side and I like this side of Ascutney view.

To refill my gas tank, I waited until I got to Claremont because it was only $1.61 a gallon.  Along that road, gas cost $1.87 a gallon.

But it was a beautiful day, the sun was shining and it was just fun to get out and about for awhile.
