Today is grey and cloudy. To cheer myself up I entered a Pioneer Woman giveaway and a . Le Creuset give away for a chance to win. The first one is on the Pioneer Woman blog for Tieks Ballet Flats. They cost $175.00 and were featured on Oprah’s O-list favorites one time. They fold up to carry in your purse if you want and look like they would be extremely comfortable. Really soft leather. I like the cream color ones with a teal sole. But if you go to #tieks they show all the styles and colors.
Then I saw in my E-mail a Le Creuset Signature 7 qt roaster contest to enter to win. It included a Certified Angus Beef Brand Rib Roast, the Le Creuset Signature 7 qt roaster, a Le Creuset Salt and Pepper Mill and coarse grinding salt and Tellicherry Peppercorns from Jacobson Salt Company.
Wouldn’t that be awesome to have? Fun to enter to win, anyways.
Then on that web site they had a free app for the i-phone. It’s called a Roast Perfect App. Looked neat to me, so I googled the app and downloaded it to have on my i-phone. Love it! ❤
Then I went to my Pinterest board and looked at some of Easter ideas that I have collected. I like the following tablescape idea. It’s called Peter Cottontail.
Then I had saved a recipe for Creamy Early Peas and New Potatoes that looked like what my Gram used to make.
Then Tricia Yearwood’s Strawberry Salad. Such a nice Spring idea. All kinds of strawberries from Florida in the grocery stores now at a reasonable price.
And then Coconut Cream Pie…….favorite of all favorites.
And so after being depressed from watching politics on Fox last night, I just had some fun stuff that cost me nothing and cheered me up.
