It was a beautiful morning to go for a 2 mile walk. I put my morning coffee in a travel mug and enjoyed a walk along the walking trail.
I walked all the way to the waterfall. The trees and shrubs are grown up over the view quite a bit. It looks wild and free with the way the water bubbles over the rocks, but it’s kind of hard to capture the beauty of it with my cell phone camera.
There were some Indian Paintbrushes along the trail. I’m not sure if that is the name of them, but that’s what we always called them. I like the vibrant color of them.
There were a lot of daisies along the trail. They are so crisp and clean looking.
Lots of wildflowers like the above “Queen Anne’s Lace” along the trail.
I like the green ferns along the trail. So pretty.
I don’t know what the above little pink flowers are, but they look colorful.
I sometimes see a butterfly like the above, but I didn’t see one along the trail today. I did see a butterfly on my way home. I sometimes see ducks and a Great Blue Heron along the river, but I didn’t see any today.
It seemed good to be out in the fresh air and enjoy the morning.
