Happy Monday! Don’t forget to let in the inspiration!
Le Creuset has a new color in their cookware called “teal”. Love it!
Staub has a new mini-coquette and they have a sweepstakes for a chance to win one. I shared the link to the sweepstakes on my facebook. That’s a heart on the handle.
One of my facebook friends is in France and she made the above grilled salmon. It’s just salmon, olive oil, salt and pepper. She grilled the salmon for 4 minutes on each side on a hot grill. Yum! And then she tossed a few chunks of lemon and cooked until golden and juicy to serve with the grilled fish.
What a beautiful grill her husband’s parents have in Provence. The background tile just looks so French. Love it.
I love flowers from a flower garden. I happened upon the above bouquet at a farm stand. It just makes me smile. ❤
A nice sounding summer muffin is the above Lemon Raspberry Muffin. I put the recipe on my muffins board on my pinterest.
One of my favorite fashion bloggers, Jolynn Shane had the above outfit to wear to go to the Farmers Market. I like the white T-shirt and scarf idea. Also the rolled up jeans with sandals.
When I was a kid, we used to take a picnic and go to the above Hapgood Pond for the day. There is a walking trail that goes around the whole area and Vermont wildflowers are pointed out with cute little signs. Fun place to go.
Beautiful area and I would like to spend a day there sometime this summer.
I love the farm fresh eggs from our local Farmers Market.
I made a Frittata with the eggs. I put sauteed onions, mushrooms and Vermont Cheddar in the Frittata and just put it under the broiler for a few minutes. Then I made a garden salad with assorted greens including kale, swiss chard and several baby lettuces that all came together in a package from the local farm stand. I just added sliced garden radishes, baby bella sliced mushrooms and I made my own vinaigrette with cider vinegar, Dijon, chopped garlic, thyme and California Extra Virgin Olive Oil. To top it off, I had a glass of ice cold Sauvignon Blanc. Just plain fun lunch.
I love the OXO container that keeps greens really fresh for days. I got mine with a gift certificate from Kohls. The greens that I got at the farm stand also had a couple of garden fresh radishes in the package.
I love house plants and especially African Violets. Out of the clear blue sky they will blossom.
If I had the land and money, I would make a garden like the Barefoot Contessa’s. Because she has traveled to France and all over Europe, she picked up awesome ideas on her gardening. She also has a secret garden that has a twisting garden path that she has special summer outside dinners with little lanterns all along the path and around the outdoor table.
I would love a little cottage like the above.
Love the idea of an outdoor garden area with a brick pathway and table.
And that’s my thoughts for this Monday.
